Cobourg, ON (November 6, 2024) – The Town of Cobourg has launched Phase Two of the Community Engagement survey for the 2025 budget on EngageCobourg.ca.
Phase One Community Engagement sought insight for Council on the current programs and services residents feel require additional funding and/or staff attention as well as community recommendations for programs and services that align with Council’s Strategic Plan. The results of Phase One were presented to Council at the Budget Meeting on Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
Now, with draft budgets available for review, the Phase Two survey offers the public another chance to provide feedback. Council received budget presentations during Standing Committee meetings on October 30 and October 31, and these recorded videos can be viewed at www.Cobourg.ca/escribe.
Timelines and Next Steps
The Phase Two survey will be open until Friday, November 22, 2024, at 9 a.m. Staff will collect all feedback and report back to Council at the November 26, 2024, Budget Meeting.

If a member of the public wishes to speak to Council regarding a Budget Item, you may attend the meeting in-person or electronically. Speakers may speak for up to 10 minutes of uninterrupted time and only on the matter pertaining to the item. Anyone wishing to speak at the meeting will be required to fill out a Request to Speak form at the meeting.
