Cobourg, ON (Issued October 10, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. EST) – The Town of Cobourg would like to advise citizens that CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries will return to film scenes in Cobourg for the final episode of season 13 on Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 and will include approximately 80 actors and 26 production trucks.
The CBC television series, Murdoch Mysteries is a drama series set in Toronto in 1907. It explores the intriguing world of William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson), a methodical and dashing detective who pioneers innovative forensic techniques to solve some of the city's most gruesome murders.
The production company Shaftesbury Murdoch XIII Inc. will arrive on Tuesday, October 29th at 6 p.m. with approximately 26 production vehicles and 80 people including cast and crew, and will be completed by Wednesday, October 30th at 2 p.m.

There will be intermittent traffic stoppages on King Street West, between Third Street and Second Street on Wednesday, October 30th from 7 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Cobourg Police Services will be working directly with the production company to ensure safety and traffic control.
