The Town of Cobourg operates on a Council-One Committee-Administrator system of local government. The Municipal Council is comprised of a Mayor, Deputy Mayor and five Councillors.
The Chief Administrative Officer reports to the Municipal Council and three Division Directors report to the Chief Administrative Officer.
