Engineering and Environmental Services

Engineering and Environmental Services is responsible for all transportation and traffic related issues, the review of all residential, commercial and industrial applications, as well as the administration of all capital works projects, including the reconstruction of municipal services and the municipal road resurfacing program. Managing the Cobourg Transit and the Water Pollution Control Plants, also falls under the Engineering and Environmental Services umbrella. The Engineering and Environmental Services is also responsible for establishing design and construction engineering standards.
